This is the bronze cast from the ‘maquette’ of the large stone carving.  The effect of the patina creates quite a different piece of work, I rubbed back the patina on the sharp edges to allow the bronze to shine through which I think adds depth. It then ceases to be only about the shape or form as in the stone carving and adds another dimension.
